Pension Haus Maria is “Biker Friendly”, with both Ali & Denise being keen motorcyclists themselves. They have toured extensively in Europe.
This was one of the main reasons they left England for the Biking Paradise of Austria and its mountain roads.

Not all of our motorcycles could been taken to Austria but we do currently have a Suzuki VStrom DL1000, Can Am Spyder RS and a Can Am Outlander XT-P 800 Quad.
Ali has led a number of organised Tours across Europe and also helps out at a Hotel in the Tirol as their official motorcycle guide.
Pension Haus Maria is constantly striving to expand and improve the facilities for its guests. A New Bike Garage is planned for the spring of 2011, which will include maintenance and wash facilities and should be ready for the start of the season.
Bike Hire is available from local companies, contact us for details.

We are about 730 miles from Calais by the most direct route. In a car it can be done comfortably in 15 hours with a few stops along the way.
However, that would not be much fun on a bike except for the most “Iron Butted” of riders and we would suggest a one, or better still, two night stop-over’s on the way down. This means you can do various scenic routes, avoiding the motorways for much of the way and take in such delights as the Romantic Road.
Neuschwanstein Castle on the Romantic Road.
Pension Haus Maria is ideally positioned for trips further afield or as part of a multi-centre tour. The Italian Dolomites and the Tirol are half a days ride, The Sud Tirol and Croatia only a day’s ride.
The longer the better in our book as it’s is not much fun living out of panniers and moving on each day for the entire trip. We would suggest you plan a trip so you can spend a few days at a location and explore the roads and sights in all directions as suits you.
So don’t put it off any longer. If you want to have the most fun you can on a motorcycle, explore new locations, ride superb roads, take in amazing sights and experience Austrian hospitality drop us an email or give us a call.
